With his with 3-6, 6-1, 7-6 (7) loss to Czech wild card Radek Stepanek in Monte Carlo, former Australian Open finalist Marcos Baghdatis has now lost six straight matches. Currently ranked No. 28, Baghdatis will still likely be seeded at Roland Garros, as he only has 145 points to defend until play in Paris kicks off. Stepanek will face Andy Murray in the second round, who is on a three match-losing streak.—Matthew Cronin
