Molik, Ebden latest Australian Open wildcards

Alicia Molik and Matt Ebden have recieved the second set of wildcards from Tennis Australia for the Australian Open. Both reached the semifinals of the wildcard playoffs earlier this month, losing to Jelena Dokic and Peter Luczak, respectively.
Dokic and Luczak, who went on to lose the playoff finals, were given the first set of discretionary wildcards handed out by Tennis Australia. Olivia Rogowska and Marinko Matosevic secured wildcards by winning the playoffs.
One pair of wildcards for the Australian Open is awarded by the USTA and one by the FFT as part of a reciprocal deal with Tennis Australia, which gets a pair of wildcards for Australian players at the US Open and French Open in return.
The American playoffs were won by Laura Davis and Ryan Harrison, while Virginie Razzano and Beniot Paire were selected for wildcards by the French federation.
