Schiavone beats Wozniacki in Monte Carlo exo

After her title run in Charleston on Sunday, world No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki took an overnight flight to Monte Carlo to play a one-set exhibition against Roland Garros champion Francesca Schiavone and fell 6-4. Schiavone also beat Wozniacki at Roland Garros last year. The match was part of the tournament’s annual Women’s Day. Wozniacki owns an apartment in Monte Carlo in the same complex where Novak Djokovic lives.—Matthew Cronin
