This looks like a perfectly executed bit from a comedy routine, but it's not. It's an all-too real sequence from an actual match that will be the center-piece of bargain store blooper reels for years to come.

Veria FC, the team in red, missed a comically amazing five consecutives attempts at scoring from close range, hitting the posts three times before finally blasting a shot into orbit as the opposing goalkeeper was on his backside. Veria ended up losing the Greek second-division match against Levadiakos 1-0.

They must have been kicking themselves after missing all those chances to equalize, but given the evidence above, they would've probably missed that, too.
