VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP)—Canadian skier Britt Janyk has retired after a 15-year run with her national team. She won a World Cup downhill in 2007 and finished sixth in the downhill at the Vancouver Olympics last year.

The 30-year-old Janyk announced her decision Tuesday. She was a 15-time Canadian champion who had 18 top-10 finishes on the World Cup circuit.

Janyk won the downhill at the 2007 World Cup in Aspen, Colo. Earlier that year, she finished third in the downhill at Lake Louise, Alberta.

Janyk just missed the podium at the 2007 world championships in Are, Sweden, where she finished fourth in the super-G.
